Walk For Wellness In 2022

After the New Year, many people are looking to make resolutions for their health and wellness. Tons of people set high expectations about exercise or healthy eating only for them to give up on the resolution a month or so into the year.

One really simple thing you can do for your wellness this year is take a walk every day. It is one of the easiest things people can do for their health and wellness, and it has a variety of benefits.

Dr. Paul Drago is a health and wellness specialist that an effective wellness routine calls for a holistic approach and a balance of nutrition, fitness, and mental health care. According to him, taking care of your mental health is where your wellness journey should start.

Many people around the world took to walking as a main form of exercise during the pandemic. Gyms were closed and people we otherwise stuck inside. There is no reason we should give this up now that the world is opening up again.

Not only is walking great for your physical health, but it improves your mental health as well. Wether you live in a city or a more rural area, getting outside and into nature and sunshine has a calming effect and relieves stress. Going on walks means you also get to explore your area more and discover new places.
